Ohio Convention Parking Suggestions

SUMMARY

SATURDAY: suggest one of three pay lots. Map symbols: Red=$3/day, Green=$5/day, Yellow=$8/day
SUNDAY: on-street metered parking (free until 2pm) or lots

PARKING METERS

SATURDAY: Meters near singing $0.75/hr, enforced 9am-9pm (recommend not using meters)
SUNDAY: Meters $0.75/hr, enforced 2pm-9pm (recommend meters)
Cincinnati parking meters take credit cards or cash, or they can be fed remotely using the Passport Parking mobile phone app. Be sure to note the zone/space label before you leave your car.
Unmetered parking: the blocks immediately north of Washington Park are unmetered. Parking is tight there but you may get lucky.

PARKING LOTS

There are several parking lots near the singing that ordinarily aren't busy Saturday or Sunday morning. We recommend these four, which give the best choices taking into account both cost and convenience. On Saturday morning, there is a 5K race five blocks to the east of us that may use these lots. If so, the west-most lot, Town Center Garage (blue symbol) will be the least congested.

Town Center Garage

Town Center is located on Central Parkway opposite Music Hall under WCET (Channel 48).

  • Hours: Garage personnel on duty 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and two hours before any event. Self-pay stations at both entrances for parking during non-staffed hours.
  • Height Clearance: 6 feet, 8 inches

The garage has two entrances: one off of Central Parkway (accessible only to southbound traffic); the other off of Central Avenue (one-way street northbound). The Central Parkway entrance has easy access from I-75 North or South by way of the Ezzard Charles exit; proceed east on Ezzard Charles, then right onto Central Parkway, then right into the garage.

The garage has Accessible spaces in the area under Channel 48 on the east side of the garage.
